Brad Lachapelle

I have been a teacher for the Omaha Public Schools since 2001.  The first four years I was a second grade teacher at Walnut Hill Elementary.  The next four years I spent as a second grade teacher here at Druid Hill Elementary.  The following seven years I was the technology, or computer lab, teacher at Druid Hill.  I really enjoyed teaching computers but my favorite part is that I get to spend time with all the students from grades kindergarten to sixth.  I am now the Instructional Technology Facilitator and Reading Interventionist and I love my job.  I get to interact with all teachers and students.

In my spare time I work as a sales representative for a streaming company.  I would rather be shooting hoops, fishing, or watching football though.  When I get time to do those things, I jump on the opportunity.  I also spend time with my wife, Lindsey, our sons, Carson and Jaxson, and our daughters, Natalie and Chloe.  I spend a good amount of my time at football and soccer fields, basketball courts and dance recitals.

I hope you enjoy viewing our school's website and if you have any questions, feel free to contact me at 402-451-8225 or email me at
