biography

I graduated from College of Saint Mary in May, 2014 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and English as a Second Language. Prior to my pursuit of becoming a teacher, I owned and operated an in-home daycare business from 2005-2010. Before daycare I worked in the insurance industry.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy camping with my family, watching college football, attending NASCAR races, and spending time with family and friends. I was an avid runner until full-time college course work kept me planted. I have ran five marathons: Omaha (1), Lincoln (1), and Chicago (3).
